The USDN Annual Meeting is where local government sustainability practitioners from across North America come together to strengthen relationships\, exchange practical ideas\, and learn from one another. Through peer-to-peer learning\, meaningful collaboration\, and authentic connection\, you'\;ll gain fresh perspectives\, build lasting relationships\, and return home with new ideas to advance sustainability\, equity\, and resilience in your community.
The 2027 Annual Meeting will convene local government sustainability leaders from across the network who are advancing sustainability\, equity\, and resilience in communities of all sizes. This is where we come together to connect\, sharpen our thinking\, and move the work forward. Through honest conversations\, shared learning\, and collaboration grounded in real-world experience\, you'\;ll engage with peers who understand your work and are invested in helping one another succeed.

Peer exchange is at the heart of USDN. Through trusted relationships\, candid dialogue\, and shared problem-solving\, we transform common challenges into practical solutions that create meaningful change in our communities. This year'\;s theme reflects our commitment to learning from one another and strengthening the collective impact of our network.
Programming is intentionally designed to foster active participation\, collaboration\, and peer-to-peer learning. Through interactive workshops\, peer-led sessions\, facilitated discussions\, panels\, and collaborative learning formats\, you'\;ll explore what'\;s working (and what isn'\;t)\, exchange practical strategies\, and gain new ideas you can apply in your own community.
As our network continues to grow\, we'\;ve intentionally designed opportunities for meaningful connection throughout the Annual Meeting. In addition to engaging with practitioners from across North America\, you'\;ll have dedicated opportunities to connect through facilitated networking activities\, regional gatherings\, affinity space conversations\, and informal moments designed to strengthen relationships and encourage collaboration.

USDN'\;s Immersive Experiences take learning into the community through guided tours and hands-on experiences that showcase sustainability\, resilience\, and equity in action. Whether exploring innovative projects through a walking\, bus\, or bike tour\, you'\;ll connect directly with local leaders\, organizations\, and initiatives while learning alongside your peers. You'\;ll leave with practical ideas\, fresh inspiration\, and new approaches to bring back to your own community.
