AZ Goods Launches Their Official Community Introduction By Bringing Together Top Businesses and Nonprofits For An Exclusive Fashion Event. Something GOOD has made its way into the state of Arizona. 

AZ Goods, in partnership with Good360 and Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, is a new non-profit operation aimed towards benefitting 501(c)(3) organizations. Their warehouse in West Phoenix oversees the delivery and distribution of overstock, returned, and seasonal goods from major socially responsible retailers that would otherwise end up in landfills each month. 

These products provided from 40+ national retailers are being distributed for pennies on the dollar throughout the state to help fulfill the needs of Arizona communities. AZ Goods is the official Arizona distribution hub for Good 360. The goal of this partnership is to assist as many nonprofits in meeting their own organization’s needs to fulfill their mission. 

Not only is this operation creating a sustainable resource that corporate and local business partners can also fund into for a tax benefit, it also allows companies to fulfill their social responsibility and partner better with the community around them. 

Kevin Humphrey, Executive Director of Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, was approached by Good360, a global leader in product philanthropy, to establish a CRP, or Community Redistribution Partner, in the state of Arizona. The decision Humphrey made came down to impact. His great grandparents founded the home in 1954 with next to nothing to start their mission. What started off as a way to help homeless and foster children in their local community grew to a legacy of 7 homes housing up to 70 children. All this was done without State or Federal funding for their care. Sunshine Acres has been a prominent nonprofit in Arizona positively impacting local communities. AZ Goods is an extension of that same mission to help even more children, families and the most needy in the communities we care about. 

As an official introduction to the Arizona community, AZ Goods is putting on an exclusive community fashion event, XCI, for businesses and nonprofits to come see exactly what they are all about. With the runway line created and styled from recycled clothing to promote sustainable fashion, to a live mural artist painting on location, there’s Arizona community influence everywhere you turn. AZ Goods VP, Bryan Humphrey, says, “We see AZ Goods as a nonprofit for all nonprofits. The full circle vision of AZ Goods is that businesses make the money for the community, the nonprofits solve community issues, and the creatives help tell the story.”
