Tempe, Arizona (May 2, 2022): Members, the public, and exhibitors are all welcome to attend the 27^th Annual Leadership Conference & Expo event. This half-day leadership event will feature empowering stories and insights from expert speakers and business community leaders to help attendees leverage their hidden talents and develop their personal brand of leadership.

The program will begin with a leadership panel moderated by three-time Emmy award winner and Arizona’s Family anchor, Nicole Crites. The panel will feature Rosa Inchausti, deputy city manager for the City of Tempe; Ty Largo, founder & creative director of AWE Collective; and Amy Lawson, publisher for Community Impact Newspaper. The second session will be a fireside chat with Former Ms. America, Tracy Broughton. After surviving not one but two major car accidents, Tracy is a pioneer that has paved the way for the disabled. Hear her incredible story of courage and strength to not only walk again, but how she became a successful, thriving business owner and advocate for the disabled.

The lunch program will include the graduation of participants of the 2022 Mentoring Program, highlight videos of the three finalists for the 2022 Business Woman of the Year Award and the announcement of this year's recipient. “I am honored and excited to show the community what the Women in Business Council has been working on this year. Attendees will leave feeling inspired and ready to let their brilliant light shine!” said Women in Business Council Chair & Senior Communications Manager at UDA, Roxy Helman.
