Arizona Construction Hike for Hope

The Arizona chapter of The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), one of the nation’s leading suicide research and prevention organizations, is hosting the Construction Hike for Hope on Saturday, March 28, 2026. To register for the event, visit https://supporting.afsp.org/AZConstructionHikeforHope.  The Hike is free to register and anyone who raises $150+ will receive a free Hike T-Shirt at the event.

EVENT DETAILS: Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. and hikers will have the opportunity to visit the community resource tables to make the day fun, healthy and educational. There will be a brief program featuring Cheyenne from the KMLE 107.9 morning show who will lead the hikers through AFSP’s signature Honor Beads Ceremony .

The Hike is a relaxed, 3.2-mile, flat route that’s family-, dog-, and stroller-friendly—making it accessible for everyone. And the Chasse Building Team will be providing a grill truck on site, so hikers will NOT go away hungry after the Hike!

Companies, organizations and anyone interested is welcome to join us. We have a friendly competition and, the top fundraising team will have the honor of leading the Hike and will take home the coveted Golden Hard Hat of Courage—a symbol of leadership, compassion, and commitment to protecting the mental health of those who build our communities.
