Read Better Be Better is hosting a night of golf under the stars with a big impact. Drive for Changemakers is a night of golf, tacos, and networking. And it’s more than that, too. It’s a chance to drive change for Arizona’s students. Read Better Be Better is spotlighting its Pathway to Civic Leadership program and some of the young leaders shaping the future. Don’t miss the chance to hear their stories!

Pathway to Civic Leadership is one of Read Better Be Better’s two high school workforce development programs. Students are equipped with the tools and resources to recognize their potential as changemakers and leaders through connecting with local civic leaders and researching, developing, and presenting their own educational advocacy solutions. Ticket sales and sponsorships for Drive for Changemakers will fund the Pathway to Civic Leadership program. Dollars spent on this unique outing can help a future leader find their voice.

Drive for Changemakers will feature a full taco dinner, drinks, a driving range tournament, games powered by TopTracer Technology, prizes, and connection with peers and youth leaders. Individuals and teams are welcome, and sponsorships are available for companies interested in giving back to their community and receiving brand recognition that aligns with their values.

About Read Better Be Better: Founded in 2014 as a direct response to Arizona’s literacy crisis, Read Better Be Better is a Phoenix-based nonprofit that develops literacy and leadership skills in K-12 students. Its after-school programs are available in several counties in Arizona and are always 100% free for student participants and their families.
