Community day of service: Neighbors helping neighbors. Yardwork, housepainting, fence and alley cleaning & more. Free bike repair by Tempe Bicycle Action Group! Free dental work for students and neighbors in need by NOAH. Donations & sponsors gladly accepted.

For Our City Day

Date: Saturday, October 18, 2025
Time: 8:00 a.m. – Noon

Location: Meet at Cecil Shamley K–8 School, 1500 N Scovel Street, Tempe, AZ 85288
Focus Areas: Indian Bend and Del Rio neighborhoods

Projects Include:

• Yardwork, window washing and house painting for neighbors

• Trash cleanup around the school, Boys & Girls Club, and alleys

Free Services and Activities:

• Free dental clinic by NOAH

• Free bicycle repairs by Tempe Bicycle Action Group

• Community resource booths featuring Tempe Coalition, Tempe Community Action Agency, Tempe Community Council

Breakfast and lunch will be provided!

We invite you to bring non-perishable food (no glass containers) for the food pantries at Salvation Army - Tempe Corps and Tempe Community Action Agency.

For Our City Tempe is a program of CARE, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded 20 years ago by Jonathan McHatton. 

Our Partners include the City of Tempe, Shamley School, Tempe Elementary School District and Tempe Community Action Agency.
