Waste Not’s Annual Empty Bowls Event

Join us as we kick off Waste Not’s 40th anniversary celebration at our annual Empty Bowls event on Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Mesa Arts Center.

This free community celebration brings the Valley together to fight hunger and food waste while celebrating the power of community. Enjoy beautiful handcrafted bowls created by local artists, lunch, a silent auction, raffle prizes, artist demonstrations and activities for the whole family.

For nearly 40 years, Waste Not has rescued fresh, nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste and delivered it directly to local nonprofits serving people in need. Empty Bowls celebrates that mission and helps Waste Not continue turning waste into hope.

Admission is free, with handcrafted bowls and lunch available for purchase. Proceeds benefit Waste Not and its work to rescue food, reduce waste and help feed our community. This event is proudly presented by Waste Not, the Arizona Clay Association and the Mesa Arts Center.
