2022 State of the District

Description

Each year, the Tempe Chamber of Commerce presents the State of the District, a Federal Update with the 9th District US Congressman. This event welcomes community, educational, political and civic leaders for brunch while Representative Greg Stanton provides an update on federal issues affecting our district, state, and country. 

Greg Stanton was elected in November 2018 as the U.S. Representative for Arizona's 9th congressional district. Serving as Phoenix mayor from 2012 to 2018, he focused on building an economy rooted in innovation and trade. Under his leadership, Phoenix created thousands of quality jobs and recently saw the highest wage growth in the nation. Before his election as mayor of Phoenix, Congressman Stanton served nine years on the Phoenix City Council and as Arizona's Deputy Attorney General.

COVID-19 Policy 

As of today, wearing a mask/face-covering will be optional for this event. Masks will be available at the registration table for those who would like to have one. We will communicate any changes to requirements by our venue related to masks/face coverings and ask our attendees to comply.

Social distancing will be encouraged, but not enforced.

Hand sanitizer will be available at the registration table and throughout the venue.
