He’s been executive producer of an awards show broadcast on the BRAVO network, a sold-out one-night only play at the Herberger Theater and co-directed the 2004 Presidential Debate between President George Bush and Senator John Kerry. He’s the author of The Campaign Within: A Mayors Private Journey to Public Leadership, and has spoken before groups of 15 to 150,000 as a leadership coach, national activist and social change agent. A former Distinguished Lecturer at the Clinton School of Public Service at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library, since 2015 he has served as President & CEO of Greater Phoenix Leadership, a community impact roundtable of CEO leaders of Arizona’s largest business enterprises. He’s an endurance cyclist, having completed the 545-mile ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles six times and resides in Tempe.
