The Tempe Chamber of Commerce's monthly Business Before Hours Networking Mixer is open to the public and provides an informal atmosphere for business people to meet and network with fellow members of the business community. Participants will learn about the monthly host, hear from the presenting sponsor, and then have proper time for networking! Business Before Hours is Sponsored by Desert Financial Credit Union. This month the mixer will be hosted by the Tempe Chamber, as a welcoming event for President & CEO Colin Diaz.

About President & CEO Colin Diaz, ACE, IOM: 

In assuming the role of President & CEO, Colin stated, "I am excited and humbled by the opportunity to lead this great organization. There are very few opportunities where a strong foundation, potential for growth, and an engaged community coexist concurrently. Tempe is experiencing this and more and is poised for greatness." 

He brings an impressive educational background with an MBA from Duke University and an MFA for Chapman University. As the leader of the Culver City Chamber Colin used a blend of his professional, personal, and educational experience to grow reach, elevate the chamber brand to others and protect the reputation of the Chamber. 

His range of educational, professional, and practical experience allow him to be in-tune with current trends and technology, while still being rooted in the sound practices that have led businesses for decades. He is an industry influencer that currently sits on the W.A.C.E. Board of Directors as member of the Executive Committee. In addition to this regional appointment, Colin will be the only Accredited Chamber Executive in the Valley. 

Personally, Colin values spending time with his family and will be making the move to the East Valley with his wife Alicia and two daughters. He cited the regions many activities and resources as being especially attractive to his family. When he is not there or visiting their extended families, you may find him on a basketball court somewhere. He's always been active and uses that energy and enthusiasm in both professional and personal endeavors. 

COVID-19 Policy

As of today, wearing a mask/face-covering will be optional for this event. Masks will be available at the registration table for those who would like to have one. We will communicate any changes to requirements by our venue related to masks/face coverings and ask our attendees to comply. 

Social distancing will be encouraged, but not enforced. 

Hand sanitizer will be available at the registration table and throughout the venue.
