Southwest Airlines Federal Credit Union's Field of Membership is a common bond of people. There are two ways to become a member - through your employer or through a family member. Retaining membership is just as easy: Simply keep a Membership Savings Account open with a minimum balance of $5.
Membership Through Your Employer
You may be eligible for membership through your employer. We currently have over 200 Select Employee Groups (SEG) in our Field of Membership that offer credit union membership eligibility to their employees and members. If you are unsure if you are eligible, you can contact your Human Resources Representative or us at businessdevelopment@swacu.org.
Membership Through Your Family
Immediate family and household members are also eligible for membership. This includes spouses, brothers/sisters, parents, grandparents, children, and grandchildren. Please check with one of our Member Service Representatives if you have any questions on family eligibility.
